I have a 2000 Cad STS 4.9. Had trouble starting so checked and bought new battery. In one day's drive the battery power on meter dropped to 6.0v I just recharged it and it starts fine but I'm afraid to run long because it may be the alternator. Is it difficult to change out the alternator on this engine and where is it located? Can it be removed without getting under the car?
