I had my first bluebird house this year (I had painted it blue) I was soo excited to see I had bluebirds but never really saw babies. I stayed away from the box so I wouldn't scare them away. I am horrified because I just went to empty it and there is an egg in there as well as a dead adult bird. I feel so bad!!! Would the dark blue paint make it too hot. Or...there are tons of sticks on top of other stuff. I have tons of wrens could the sticks have been piled on top of the bluebird. I have no experience at this. Please help!
