I also urgently need to know about where ist btln of Suffolks went towards the end of 1945 and until nearly end of 1947. Anyone who has any info about this please let me know asap. Thanks

I beleive that when they hit normandy and the campaign of france finished and then berlin was in there sights the british and american forces held on the western border i can only say the suffolks were most likely with general montgomery there because then we and the americans let the russians take berlin
