How long does a female painted turtle carry her eggs before she lays them?? My female started to get fat, and the vet said she was going to lay eggs. Well it hasn't happened yet. She seems fine, she eats, swims, basks, interacts with my male painted. Is she really going to lay eggs or is something else wrong?? Or is nothing wrong??
