How do you land a surfski on a rocky beach? I've been told the hulls are like eggshells; super strong with distributed loads (i.e. water) but very weak to point loads (i.e. rocks).

Also, what do you do to land with "dumping surf" (i.e. the land drops of quickly on the shore so the waves crash on the shore.

Are surfskis only launched and landed on sandy shallow beaches?
