Hi just joined forum does anyone out there know about the leather trench coats used by germans during ww2 colours etc length also diff designs belted with one belt or two? buttons used as well ?
Did they all have the zig zag stitching on the collar ?
When were these coats made up to as there do seem to be more recent examples out there on offer for sale ?
Just find a lot of this interesting quite surprised that when I searched on Google certain things did come up but you get the impression a lot is blocked ww2 has always been an interest to me and the cold war with the old USSR any info much appreciated ! I have recently bought one on EBAY but obviously a certain amount of risk atatched to its authenticity without being an expert on these things!
