Hi,

I'm interested in the spin states of the electron in hydrogen. Does anyone know if there is a mathematical relationship between the intrinsic spin states of an electron occupying different orbitals in a hydrogen atom? If so, please illuminate me. I have been searching for this information for a long time and have had no success in locating it. If there is a relationship, please tell me what it is, and, if you would be so kind, provide a reference.
