Hello,

I will be having surgery on my ear next month. I have had this surgery before when I was younger, but it failed. My eardrum is now gone! I'm wondering if a Tympanoplasty will work for me anymore since I no longer have an eardrum. I'm living in S. Korea right now, so its been hard to communicate with the doctor about my situation. He will be taking skin from the back of my ear and basically replacing my eardrum with this skin. Is this going to work well? Will I have any further complications in the distant future? I just want this problem to go away! Please help!
