Hello, I have a type 38 Arisaka with a bad firing pin, I just need the pin. Are there any out there for sale? And, is there a problem with using a different firing pin in another bolt? Meaning tolerances? Does anyone out there know of the correct distance the pin should extend from the bolt face?

I also need a mag floor plate with the spring and follower.

Earlier I bought a floor plate with spring and follower, but it does not fit my 38 as the plate is a little too long and the follower is shorter so the round seems to be about 1/4" shorter. To handle the shorter round (metal wall piece is welded inside the mag box making the round length 1/4" shorter)The mounting tang behind the trigger guard is shorter than my stock one. Any idea what that would be for? Thanks for any information.
