Does anyone know what grade oil was specified for the 4.1L V8 in the 1984 Cadillac Deville?

The manual suggests 10W-30 or 10W-40. I have used 10W-30 from day one and still dont burn or use any oil between changes..If you dont know the cars history you might consider the 10-40 to play it safe. by the way , could you check the threads in the pully end of the crankshaft and let me know what size bolt fits those threads ..
