I'm going to be staying in Camelot Hotel in Bude and wandered what the best golf course is there, in your own opinion of course! By the look of Google maps there's one directly opposite where I'm staying but wandered if there's a better one if I went further afield.

Also, does anyone have any more info about the origins of the golf course, mentioned on the page over at http://www.absoluteastronomy.com/topics/Bude
