Before we bought our house, someone planted a Colorado blue spruce as a bush in front of the house. It looks a bit odd with a short tree trunk, but the tree has been squared off like a bush and is very full and healthy looking. My concern is that it may be too close to the house and thus present problems. It actually looks healthy and fine, but is touching other bushes on each side and is almost touching the brick on the house. Should it be moved, cut down, what? It is probably about 2.5 feet tall. It is clear it is a tree made into a bush. It has a beautiful color and feels unreal when you touch it; very waxy plastic feel.
