Shine On! Songs Volume One is a charitable album released on September 30th, 2011 by the Shine On! Songs record label. The album's proceeds will go towards the foundation's programs to give Psychosocial
support to children with cancer in Japan and their families, and an additional program to help children in the areas affected by the 2011 Tōhoku earthquake and tsunami
. The record label is owned by the Tyler Foundation
which inspired world famous musicians, producers, and song writers to create the music album in order to support the foundation's programs. The album featured songs by artists such as Maxi Priest
, Donna Burke
, Julian Lennon
, Mark Ballas
, Rie fu
and many more. Lyrics where also donated by Alan Menken
and Academy Award winning lyricist Tim Rice
