Early career

Hill signed for Leigh from local Wigan amateur club New Springs Legions in 2004, and in fact started his career as a stand-off or loose forward before being converted into a prop. He progressed through Leigh's service area, scholarship and youth ranks before making his first and currently only first-grade appearance whilst Leigh were in Super League
