Academia de l'Aragonés official orthography

The necessity of a complete generalization of Huesca's orthography and its answer by the Sociedad Lingüística Aragonesa as well as the sine die postponement of Lei de Luengas provoked that a big amount of associations that used the orthographic system from the I Congreso de l'Aragonés begun in 2005 a process named as Chuntos por l'Aragonés (United for Aragonese). The aim of this process was to claim for the unity of language and to celebrate the II Congreso de l'Aragonés in order to create a linguistic authority for Aragonese language. The process finished with the creation of the Academia de l'Aragonés in 2006.

This organization received support from several institutions to find a orthography and a standard variety for Aragonese. It is still working on them but published in February 2010 a draft: Propuesta Ortografica Provisional de l'Academia de l'Aragonés made oficial in June 2010 after a study process of all amendments that the community made to it.
