Åhus Glass was a Swedish ice cream producer, situated in the locality of Åhus
in Kristianstad Municipality

. The Swedish word for ice cream is "glass". It started its fabrication in 1950. In 2002 the company Ingman
bought the factory and instead of using the name Åhus Glass, the ice cream became Ingman Glass AB. However, the factory still produces ice cream, and since 2007, produces ice cream under the original brand name of Åhus Glass. The factory specializes in milk-free ice cream made with soya and lactose-free ice cream.
The original owners of of Åhus Glass have opened a new ice cream line (also based in Åhus) which is called Otto Glass. The ice cream is sold during the summer months at kiosks in the main square in Åhus, at the local supermarket (ICA), at two locations at the beach and also at one kiosk in the larger town nearby called Kristianstad
.
Otto Glass produces ice cream that is exactly like the old Åhus Glass brand, which is available throughout Southern Sweden, and even uses the original recipe. Notably, both the old Åhus Glass and the new Otto Glass are famous for their waffle cone which they dip in chocolate.
