Geography

The Zurzach district has an area, , of 129.99 square kilometres (50.2 sq mi). Of this area, 57.08 km² (22 sq mi) or 43.9% is used for agricultural purposes, while 51.23 km² (19.8 sq mi) or 39.4% is forested. Of the rest of the land, 16.62 km² (6.4 sq mi) or 12.8% is settled (buildings or roads).
