Pattern
XAT is a two-hour long exam and is divided into three or four sections of multiple-choice questions that test quantitative ability (mathematics), verbal ability (English) and data interpretation/logical reasoning skills. Until recently, there used to be a separate general knowledge section but it was done away with in 2003.
