In 2006, Price announced that he would scale back his work at TPG to focus on personal pursuits including his holdings in wine vineyards. Price is currently founder of Classic Wines, which has invested in Buccella Winery, Kistler Vineyards,and Three Sticks Wines.

Bill Price is also chairman of Vincraft, an investment company specializing in the wine business that owns a controlling interest in Kosta Browne.
