.
His seminal book is the 1997 Science and Human Transformation, which postulates the existence of subtle energies, beyond the four fundamental forces, which act in concert with human consciousness.

Pigasus Award Winner

In his 1982 book, renowned skeptic, magician, and author James Randi identified Tiller as the 1979 "scientist who had said the silliest thing" relating to parapsychology in that year; for this Tiller was awarded the Pigasus Award

Psychoenergetics and subtle energies

Tiller claims to have discovered a new class of natural phenomena generated via what he calls "subtle energies", which allegedly manifest themselves in the practices of "healers" and other practitioners of the paranormal

. Tiller defines the term psychoenergetics as the study of these energies in relation to the application of human consciousness. He sees a connection between both physical and nonphysical consciousness and the natural phenomena. His findings are not supported by robust scientific evidence and is considered to be pseudo-science, thus not accepted by the scientific community.

Tiller foundation

He is currently Chairman and Chief Scientist of the William A. Tiller Foundation, an organization devoted to his research on psychoenergetic science and subtle energies and is a retailer of his books and DVDs.
