. The park has a number of rides and recently opened a side attraction called Castaway Cove.

It features many rides such as the new Banzai Pipeline, which brings riders through a tube, and into a halfpipe where they go up onto the wall, and then back down into a pool. The bathrooms, changing rooms, and restaurant are all redone for the 2008 season. The Whales Tale is also one of the very few water parks in the country that feature the "eye of the storm." In this ride, guests slide first through an enclosed slide and then into a giant bowl where they go around several times before dropping through a hole in the center into a pool. The park features rides for all ages, and minimal wait times. The park has a total of 9 attractions including a newly redone kiddy pool. It also has an outdoor bar and restaurant, and numerous concession stands. In July on certain dates the park is open until 10 PM. During this time there is also a band playing and the rides stay open. These dates are called Whales Tale After Dark.
