History

Harold S. Campbell opened the mall in 1973. On November 9, 2011, the Westgate Mall will start a year-round farmers market called The Market at Westgate that will run on Wednesdays. It will start with 15 vendors, with plans to increase to 25 vendors by 2012. In addition, a renovation is planned for the mall, which currently has many vacancies.
