In 1992 she was voted the Kentucky Broodmare of the year. Her offspring include Honor Grades, Tiger Ridge, Devongate, Amirati, Weekend Storm, Norway, Eavesdropper, Welcome Surprise, Saithor, and Weekend In Seattle. She died on March 13, 2001 shortly after foaling a filly by the sire Belong To Me.

Weekend Surprise was a double copy mare, a reference to a mare that has the gene to pass on the "big heart" to her offspring from both sides of her family. Sires can only pass this to daughters. She definitely inherited this trait from her sire, Secretariat and likely also from her damsire Buckpasser.
