History

Warren Central High School was built in 1965. It combined the three existing county schools, Culkin, Jett, and Redwood into one consolidated program. Students at the three county schools voted on the school colors and mascot (red and blue, Vikings, respectively) in 1964 prior to consolidation.

 program, Class 6-A of MHSAA (Mississippi High School Athletic Association), finished the 2008 season with a 4-6 record, with a game cancelled due to weather. Aside from football, WCHS also sports other athletic programs such as baseball, basketball, soccer, track, slow and fast pitch softball, swimming, golf, cross country, and powerlifting.
