Vilfredo Schürmann

The skipper has a B.A. in Economics. He owned a company that planned and carried out the implementation of factories as well as provided financial consulting to existing industries. At 35 he changed a successful career in business for the pleasure of pursuing a life of adventures on his own yacht with his family, sailing around the world.
Vilfredo manages the feasibility of the Schurmann Family
projects and also lectures to companies on topics such as strategic planning, organization, motivation, quality of life and team work.
In 1994 he was awarded the Anita Garibaldi Medal, for the services rendered to the State of Santa Catarina, Brazil. On this website Vilfredo has his own column where he gives sailing planning tips thus encouraging others dreamers who want to adventure throughout the seas of the planet.
