He holds several positions within non-profit organizations. He is an Honorary Fellow of the LSE
and has been a governor since 1995. He is a leading donor to the school, and a member of its Development Committee. He has been active in promoting the interests of the school externally in many places and contexts around the world, including persuading various foundations to give to the school to support specific programmes.
