Vasa Mihich is an American artist based in Los Angeles, California.

Born in Yugoslavia, Mihich has lived in Los Angeles since his arrival in the United States in 1960. He is an academically trained painter and a senior Professor at the University of California, Los Angeles

 in the Department of Design | Media Arts. Mihich teaches theories of color to understand interdependence and interaction of color and form, color and quantity, color and placement, and after-image.

His studio, designed to accommodate the technology required for his work, is located in the heart of Los Angeles. He makes laminated plexiglass tubes that refract light, examples of which are held in the collection of the Denver Art Museum

Vasa was married August 19, 1973 to Victoria Lillian Corb /Mihich. They had two children Justin Mihich born February 19, 1976 and Felicia Mihich born March 14, 1978.
