The owner of the Bonanza Mall in Siam Square plans opened the new shopping complex worth 2.7 billion baht at the Lat Phrao junction in December 2006. Thanks to its prime location that attracts 1.5 million people a day from 11 surrounding districts, the Union Mall is expected to break even within eight years, said Jirapat Sirijit, managing director of the developer Siam Jatujak Co.With small shops and booths like the Bonanza Mall, the complex will have a different concept from others in the area.
