The film was presented on September 1, 2007 as part of the Giornate degli Autori - Venice days, a parallel section of the Venice film festival

 where it got two awards: the EIUC Human Rights Award and the ARCA Prize for Youths. The film will also be representing Lebanon at the 49th Thessaloniki International Film Festival, which this year is dedicating its Spotlight section to the Cinema of the Middle East.

Synopsis

Zeina Nasrueddin, who lives in Dubai, sends her son to spend the summer in Lebanon. A few weeks later the war starts, and she returns to Lebanon through Turkey

 because of the blockade. She meets Tony, a taxi driver, who agrees to drive her to the south to find her son, Karim. After two days, they track Karim down at a monastery. When Zeina calls Karim to tell him that she is coming, he does not answer her. When they are finally reunited, Zeina realizes that the boy at the monastery is not Karim, but he is wearing Karim's jacket. The boy explains that he was trapped under the bombs with his dying mother, and he took off his shirt to cover his eyes. Karim gave him his jacket.

The whole cast was made up only of four professional actors. The others were ordinary people the director found in Lebanon.

Awards

On Saturday December 15, 2007, the movie won the top prize at the fourth Dubai international film festival. Its star, Nada Abu Farhat, took the festival's best actress award.
