. She was commissioned on June 5, 1992. Her original home port was Apra Harbor, Guam, but later changed to Honolulu, HI, which she still calls home today.

The 110-foot Island-class Patrol Boats are a Coast Guard modification of a British-designed patrol boat. With range and seakeeping capabilities, the Island class, all named after U.S. islands, replaced the older 95-foot s. These cutters are equipped with advanced electronics and navigation equipment.
