Production
In early 2008, TNA released a list of scheduled pay-per-view events taking place in 2008. Beginning with their January pay-per-view Final Resolution, which took place on January 6, and ending with Turning Point, which was supposed to take place on December 14; as all Turning Point events before it took place in December. TNA changed the date of Turning Point in early October. Final Resolution was moved to take place in December for the second time in 2008 while Genesis was moved to Final Resolution's former spot in January 2009.
