Tuggen has an area, , of 13.6 km² (5.3 sq mi). Of this area, 62.7% is used for agricultural purposes, while 22.1% is forested. Of the rest of the land, 11.6% is settled (buildings or roads) and the remainder (3.6%) is non-productive (rivers, glaciers or mountains).
