Geography

Trun has an area, , of 43.1 km² (16.6 sq mi). Of this area, 23.6% is used for agricultural purposes, while 34% is forested. Of the rest of the land, 1.9% is settled (buildings or roads) and the remainder (40.5%) is non-productive (rivers, glaciers or mountains).
