An applicant receives a new phone number, and has the option to request a 800 number. You can also have your old number transferred. Line2 is the first app that can receive incoming calls via either Wi-Fi or cellular voice, so one gets the call even if the app isn't running. Line2's call-management features include visual voice mail and conference calling with up to 20 other people. Line2 also runs on the iPhone
