History

time:matters was spun off as one-hundred-percent subsidiary of the parent company Lufthansa Cargo Ltd. in 2002. Due to time:matters’ growth additional steps followed, such as further expansion of the company and an increased focus on the internationalization strategy. Lufthansa Cargo decided to incorporate an external shareholder in 2006, in order to provide funds and become involved in the strategic development of time:matters. Aheim Capital was subsequently selected for this purpose. Following a buyout, the new shareholder structure was established in 2006 and consists of Aheim , time:matters management and Lufthansa Cargo AG. In the same year, time:matters opened the first overseas branch office in Zurich within the scope of the internationalization of its business model. Since then offices in Vienna (Austria), Katowice (Poland), Amsterdam (Netherlands), Brussels (Belgium), Milan (Italy), Oslo (Norway), Stockholm (Sweden), Singapore and Shanghai (China) have been added.
