Brando attended Northeast Louisiana University (now the University of Louisiana-Monroe). He graduated from Fair Park High School in Shreveport, Louisiana in 1974. Brando lives in Shreveport with his wife of 32 years, Terri. They have two daughters: Tiffany, 28, who attended Louisiana State University; and Tara, 21, who attends the University of Mississippi and is pursuing a Broadcast Journalism degree.
