In each episode, Andy was dispatched to help a child in need and resolve his problem. The antagonist in each episode was Hornswoggle, who tried to make Andy's mission more difficult, usually by getting him to make the wrong mistake or by otherwise complicating the mission. It was up to Andy to correct whatever mistakes he made and foil Hornswoggle's plans. Oddly enough, Angelica, couldn't perceive Hornswoggle; this had a tendency to complicate things and get Andy in trouble.
The character of Haggle, voiced by Geoff Gordon, was the first cartoon character to rap. Gordon was an NBC page when he was cast.
Each 30-minute episode consisted of two 15-minute segments. Thirteen 30-minute episodes were produced.
