Formation

The band formed when the members were just 15. The band was initially known as "kiros" according to the band's official biography on its website, but changed its name three years later to "Corona" (named after a typewriter

Since such The Coronas are believed to be one of the most up and coming bands in Ireland receiving wide ranging support and affection from fans, many believe that it is only a matter of time before they find themselves recognised on a wider scale and this was helped with their second album.

The album went straight into the number 1 spot in the Irish i-Tunes Album chart upon its release. The following week it debuted at #3 in the Irish Album Chart. The first single from album was Listen Dear.The second being "Far From Here". Their first televised live performance featuring the first single made its debut on Irish television on RTE One
