Team Michigan is an American football team that will begin play in April 2008 as part of the All American Football League. The team will play its home games in Detroit, Michigan at Ford Field (home of the NFL's Detroit Lions); it is the only one of the AAFL's franchises not based in the Southern United States.
The team is coached by John Fontes, a former Detroit Lions assistant coach, and brother of former Lions head coach Wayne Fontes. John has 27 years of coaching experience, including four seasons (1992–1996) as an assistant with the Lions.
