 (Belgium)-London Stansted (Flight TAY352) was redirected to East Midlands Airport due to weather conditions. On final approach the autopilot momentarily disengaged and re-engaged. The aircraft landed heavily to the left of the runway and the right main landing gear detached from the aircraft. The right wing tip and engine scraped on the ground then the aircraft became airborne again and made an emergency diversion to Birmingham

. It landed with only the left landing gears, scraping on its nose and right engine. There were no injuries. . The cause of the crash was determined to be due to a poorly timed message from local air traffic control
