The pretense for the song is that Sivaji goes to Tamizlselvi's music shop asking about when they can get married, and Shriya tells him to show his hands. She tells Sivaji to compare and Sivaji says in Tamil "This is a mans hand, and this is a womans hand", pointing at first his hand then hers. Then she says look carefully. ) makes a big scene about how all the avataram's of Vishnu are brown in colour. Sivaji then tells his Mama to cool down, then he tells Tamizlselvi that he will return white. Then the film shows how he tries to become white, then he returns to the music shop as a white Sivaji. She is shocked and the song starts.
