 in Egypt until 2007. Amal Choucri Catta, in her review of the 2005 New Year's Eve Concert for Al Ahram newspaper, hailed Steven Lloyd as the "best principal conductor of the orchestra to date" - she also noted that he was the youngest conductor in history to occupy the position.

Steven Lloyd has also been a member of staff at Ampleforth College, North Yorkshire, since 2005.

Trivia

Lloyd is the conductor on several soundtracks, including the X box 360 game, Xenosaga performed by the London Philharmonic Orchestra and composed by Yasunori Mitsuda and Sega's Headhunter, composed by Richard Jacques. Also two films, Vipere Au Poix and Avant L'oubli.
