Linda has also been shown to be much more sympathetic and tender to Butters compared to Stephen, although she is still a strict disciplinarian. Just like Stephen, however, she can be grossly irrational at times, as she attempted to kill Butters and planned to commit suicide in Butters' Very Own Episode
