Route

The Southern Line starts at Alsancak Terminal in Alsancak

. From there it continues south (crossing the tracks to Basmane at the famous Hilal Cross) towards Kemer and then traverses the southern hills of Kadifekale. At Şirinyer, the tracks enter the Şirinyer Tunnel
