(1984). The song "Sleepless" is best known for its distinctive opening bassline which features Tony Levin actually slapping on the strings to create its pulsating beat. It came from Levin's habit of actually tapping the strings in rehearsal and as well as the soundchecks while on tour. The 2001 re-release features several different versions of the song.
