The album was promoted on television with professional music videos to the songs "King of Dreams" and "Love Conquers All". Both featured members of the band.

Unreleased & live

In addition to the tracks on Slaves and Masters, there were two other Mk V songs released in 1990-91. One was "Slow Down Sister", B-side of the "Love Conquers All" 12" and CD singles. The other was "Fire, Ice and Dynamite", an outtake adapted for the Fire, Ice and Dynamite action movie, in preference to a Harold Faltermeyer song which it was suggested they perform. The track was released on the CD of the movie soundtrack. Jon Lord does not appear on it, and the synthesizers were played by Roger Glover. "Slow Down Sister" has since been reissued on the Shades 1968–1998 box set. "Fire, Ice and Dynamite" was re-released on the New, Live & Rare DVD as a bonus feature.

None of the songs from Slaves and Masters have been performed live since the 1991 World Tour, except for "Love Conquers All", which was performed by Joe Lynn Turner on July 24, 2000 in Elmsta, Sweden and "King Of Dreams" which was performed by Joe Lynn Turner during the Japanese tour in 2000, also as an opening song of the 2002 Hughes Turner Project
