History

According to both historian Ghulam Husain and Nizamuddin Ahmad, Sikandar had mental illness and hence after ascending the power he was removed within a day or two. On a different account, he lost the confidence of the court nobles and it cost him the throne after ruling Bengal only for two months.

Coins and inscriptions of his name have not yet been found.
