Shikmona is an ancient tell (mound) situated near the seacoast on the southern entrance to the modern city of Haifa, Israel. In archeological excavations of the mound were discovered remains of a city that existed there in 14-11 centuries BC.
The Israeli National Institute of Oceanography is situated at Shikmona.
