Seo-gu is the largest ward in Incheon, South Korea. Its area is 111.2 kmē, and it also has the largest area of farmland of Incheon's wards.
In the past, Seo-gu was part of 'Buk-gu' [Buk means north in Korean] but in 1988, some part of the ward has separated out to form 'Seo-gu'.
'Buk-gu' no longer exists because in 1995, Book-gu divided into Gyeyang-gu to the north and Bupyeong-gu to the south.
Incheon's English Village, an English language immersion educational site, is located here.

Incheon's English Village, an English language immersion educational site, is located here. Oddly, although it is called Seo (west) -gu, it is located to the NORTH and somewhat to the EAST of Dong (east)-gu.
