1813-1818. He served as president of the Lincoln Bank in his hometown of Bath, Maine
in 1813.
Davis was elected as a Federalist
to the Thirteenth
Congress (March 4, 1813 - March 3, 1815). He was again a member of the Massachusetts House of Representatives
in 1815 and 1816.
In his private life he was a merchant in Africa
n and West Indian trade.
He died in Bath, Maine
on April 20, 1831 and was interred in Maple Grove Cemetery.
